Two-Day Canine Class 

Day 1 – Training Versatility

During the first day of this canine class, students will focus on giving basic training and managing a variety of dog breeds. It is important for a successful professional trainer to know how to handle all kinds of dogs, regardless of their emotional state and energy level.

In addition, the initial part of the course will teach the students how to organise and plan training sessions for dogs.

You’ll be learn how to set up the facilities for the training sessions. The specifics of running the trainings will be presented in details by professionals that have tons of experience in the field. Additional topics that will be explored during day one include teaching basic obedience, choosing the best enrichment activities and mastering training techniques.

At the end of the day, our trainees will get feedback about their performance from the experienced instructors. This immediate response enables improvements in technique right from the very start.

Day 2 – Supervised Tutoring

The second day of training is focused on the 1:1 education and theory. The most important strength of this training is that it’s tailored to the individual needs of every student. The tutor and the potential dog trainer will work alongside each other to come up with a curriculum addressing individual interests and preferences. It’s easy to see how the educational format delivers optimal benefits for every single student.

The other option we provide to our students is a three-hour consultation focused on live training and behavioural knowledge. This is an excellent opportunity for those of you who wish to work as dog behaviour practitioners.

The second day will provide detailed understanding of specific dog habits, signals, reactions and emotional responses to various stimuli. During the second part of the 1:1 course, the tutors will focus on providing full information on the ways rewarding works in training, as well as how to successfully handle dog-on-dog aggression.

Finally, the students will also learn the basics of a behavioural modification plan, as well as how to accustom it to specific dogs after seeing the initial results. The modification plans should be fully-compatible and utilisable by the clients. It takes skills and experience to come up with such individualised modifications. These are all presented during the second day of the training.
